Since the introduction of the internet, this country has been under a drastic change. Cheap, readily accessible through mobile phones it has penetrated deep into the Indian Sub-continent challenging the very foundation of this age-old civilizations. I call this shift as the 'Internet Revolution' and the biggest hit of this storm has been taken by Education.

Now a new term has come into existence and that is Modern Education. We must understand the concept of this is not educating kids with the use of modern technologies such as projector presentation, digital notepads, online exams but getting them educated of new budding modern technologies. We use modern equipment to teach rudimentary education keeping students unaware of new technologies such as 3d printing, hydrogen cells, etc. Developed countries have accepted the fact and they have progressed at a great pace and I'm afraid if we didn't cope up with this pace we may be left behind. 

Online Education has given students the privilege of gaining education sitting comfortably at home. The Internet gave them unlimited sources of information and it has become a treasure for those who seek. But, we may also see that everything has been monetized and the treasure is only accessible not to those who seek but for them who have money. Many business models have been established and working seamlessly providing the best of education they state. These entities limit the imagination of students and curb them in certain boundaries. These entities now question the existence of schools. 

For those who think online education is the substitute for schools, they are living in a fool's paradise. You may gain knowledge but wisdom can only be gained when you are socially active. Shaping a human with manners and values can only be imparted with the help of schools. A person without values is hollow and nothing but a living robot who has no conscience and function by the information which has put through his subconscious by the person who controls the internet. 

To make the idea of Modern Education successful a perfect blend of both the world's, not forgetting the roots and finding the right balance will definitely give an edge over the others.
