Children should fill their mind instead of filling their pockets.A short story to show what children think and deserve and what is the reality.

Scrolling my social media for finding out content,I thought of writing a short story. I thought,"Questions are already curious. And if children ask them, they become more curious. And yes, nobody can be as curious as children."

Well , children make us speechless by their random questions. We can't answer their questions..maybe because we don't know the answer. But what makes a child speechless? Have you ever thought? So, have a glimpse of my story.

My sister, the youngest in the family, had been always crazy about toys and loved to care for them. My mom used to smile  looking at her playing with toys imagining as if they were living beings..Her toys were the only things that she couldn't share with anybody.

Couple of years ago, me and my toy-lover tiny tot sister were wandering in the market. After searching a lot, we finally found a perfect shop where she could find toys of her choice. As we entered the shop, my sister got so excited that she couldn't control herself and took a trolly and started grabbing her favorite toys. Finally satisfied after putting one more toy in the trolly, we moved to the counter and I proceeded to pay the bill. She asked me if she could ask me something. I neglected her.The curious mind again asked, "Listen,na"I exclaimed, "What!!".She said with her sparkling eyes(usually like kids do)," I want more..I want the huge collection of toys just like that boy".I looked at that little boy my sister was pointing to who was a worker at that shop. Full of anger,I told my sister,"Do you even know that there is not even a possibility of that boy to own any toy.Stupid!!".My sister asked,"Why not!! He could have as many toys as he wants. He spends his whole day in this shop."I reacted like "Shut up!!!" I literally lost my temper. But suddenly something clicked in my mind,"How can a little girl understand the concept of inferiority!! She just has everything and she has her own world ..A little girl who is living in her self-made reel world can never understand the concept of real-world.."..I took a deep breath and told my sister to come with me...I told my little one to observe that boy...She said, "Di..he has so many toys surrounded him..but still he is no more excited to choose one and play with it..He is just engrossed in his work ..".I politely told her,"Hey, because he knows that these toys could never belong to him..He works here to earn money ...not for toys...He is there to fulfill his need that is food..You are so blessed that you have your parents to fulfill not only your needs but also your wishes...Be thankful to Almighty for that...Not necessary that every child is blessed like you"

For the very first time...my talkative sister was speechless...She took bags of toys that we recently bought, from my hands and told me to wait for a minute...She gave all the toys to that boy..and came to me...I was amazed by her this move..because I didn't expect this kind of act from a girl who was so possessive about her toys...

Sometimes, the things that can't be realized just by observation or simple written words can be deeply felt by real-life experiences and short-stories.Every child is innocent...Every child has a right to play with toys...The concept of child labour is still in trend in many countries....If we can take an initiative to stop it ..we must definitely take it....It implies that we are the ones who are one step forward to make the future of your nation bright....
